Allocation

It describes how a notified body decides who reviews a given file. Allocation draws on staff already authorized for the relevant codes, which is why the right expertise has to be available before an assessment can start.

Allocation: assignment of staff to specific conformity assessment tasks in the context of an individual conformity assessment application.
