Clinical evaluation (IVD)

The IVDR itself speaks of performance evaluation, which covers scientific validity, analytical performance and clinical performance. This guidance uses the shorter term only for the clinical performance part.

Term in this document that refers to the evaluation of clinical performance that is conducted as part of the performance evaluation process.
