Person who imports or offers for import

Foreign establishments must identify these parties in their FDA registration. Knowing who they are helps FDA follow devices entering the country, and the information should be kept current.

Person who imports or offers for import means, for purposes of this part, an agent, broker, or other entity, other than a carrier, that the foreign establishment uses to facilitate the import of its device into the United States.
