Quality of service

In cybersecurity submissions it matters for connected devices that depend on a network to work safely, for example to deliver alarms or data in time. Defining the required level helps show how the device behaves when the network degrades or is under attack.

necessary level of measurable performance in a data communications system or other service which may include throughput (bandwidth), transit delay (latency), error rates, priority, security, packet loss, packet jitter, etc.
