Study procedure

In IVD performance studies, the procedures involved, especially invasive specimen collection, affect which IVDR requirements and approvals apply. A study that uses only left-over samples is treated differently from one that collects specimens for the study.

Any procedure foreseen in the PS (e.g. specimen collection) with the aim of investigating the device.
